Sword of the Rightful King

For my December book i decided to read Sword of the Rightful King by Jane Yolen

I do not think this this book really had any significance at all besides the fact that it was a good plot. It was a rewrite of the story about king arthur. It is completely different from the story we all know, exept she changes it to make it a completly fake ending.
It had a very good storyline but it didnt teach me anything valuable about life. At first i wanted to read this book
because i heard from a couple people that this book was the best book they have ever read. I really enjoyed this book and recomend it to anyone that doesnt care about learning anything from reading.

Evidence
Its really hard to understand what the evidence is in the book. Through out the book, i kept wondering who the the good and bad guys were. In the original story of King arthur, he was the good guy and the North Witch was the bad guy. In Jane Yolen's book, she makes King Arthur seem like the bad guy and the North Witch the good guy. Sometimes i would get very confused because i never knew who was doing the right thing, and who was trying to make the other person suffer. I am pretty sure the author was trying to make a argument out of it so people would actually have to think about it.

Perspective
This book is set in the middle ages when there was knights, kings, queens, and in some storys dragons. From my perspective i would say that this book is TRYING to teach you about loyalty but it doesnt really work considering it is all fake and none of that probably will never happen.

Connection
I did not get effected by this book what so ever. I also had no connection to it considering that the whole this is fake. I am almost positive i am not going to become a king in my lifetime by pulling a sword out of a stone. I am already afraid of swords as it is so i dont see how that is possible. My point is. its a great book. but its fake and i cant relate to it at all.

Supposition
If i could change one thing in this book, i would make it more easy to relate to. the way i would do that would be keeping the real story and not messing it around to confuse people and change the main characters personalitys. Anyways. i really recomend this book if you want to read about something adventurous and entertaining.

Series of Unfortunate Events *The End*

This month i decided to read the last of the Series sof Unfortunate Events. Just like the last book i read, i thought that the last book in the series was the best. This book is important because it is the end of a series which is very unfortunate and sad, and you dont know if it has a happy ending or not. These books are very suspensfull, so when you pick it up, its really hard to put it down.

The End was written by Lemoney Snicket and was published in 2006. The book represents Lemony Snicket because it is really mysterious and nobody really knows much about lemony so he is pretty mysterious too. She writes the book completly clear so you can understand everything she is talking about. Of course you have to read all of the series to understand the last book.

I can not find a argument supporting or going against this book.

It takes place in a normal world, and seems completely non fiction. The things in the book didnt really happen though so it is actually fiction. This book never really had a effect on the world, the only importance in this book is that it is the last in the series. My opinion on this book is really good, and has gotten me to get many of my friends to start reading these books too.

If i applied this book to a new situation, it would go on forever. All of the books in the series are mysterious and suspensfull but the main characters end up getting out of any situation anyway. If we changed one of the elements, the plot would not change but some of the little things would. For instance if they were eating out of a jar of peanut butter, they might be eating out of a jar of jelly. If this book took place in a different time period, it would be just as good or maybe even better! If you havent gotten a chance to read this book, you should try it out!

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows

Significance
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows is the best book i have ever read. It is Adventurous and gets you caught in the book. At first it feels like it never ends. This book is the last in the series. The end of the harry potter series is very important because no one knows if its a happy ending or a sad ending. The series concludes of seven eye catching books. The author uses very
affective words to keep the reader attentive to the book. This book was one of the biggest deals this summer. I know many people that had the book shipped to them from across the united states.

Evidence
The whole arugument about the book is, Which one dies? Harry? or Voldemort. The importance of the book is that nobody knows who dies unless they read the book. Otherwise, they would feel completly left out because they dont want anyone to spoil the ending for them.
Connections
This book is fiction, so there for will not affect the future or the present. It connects to the real world becuase it has real people, real buildings, and about half of it takes place in the real world. It might have been influenced by the past because of what happened when people thought that there were such things as witches.

Supposition
If The Deathly Hollows was to change, the world books wouldnt be as big of a deal for me. The book was so succsesfull, it has 7 books and is soon going to have 7 movies.

Perspective
The Harry Potter series was written by J.K. Rowlings. The setting of this book is almost in a parellel universe. It is in the same time period as right now. The parellel universe is a wisarding world with witchcraft, goblins, and other mystical creatures.
